Help for Ukraine
Project SummaryYuliya wants to provide medical supplies, food, clothing and other necessary goods for those left behind in Ukraine. Support her project with a donation!
Even after more than a week, the war in Ukraine is not abating. Although more than a million people have already fled the country, many do not want to and cannot leave the country, which has already been destroyed by the war. They are sheltering in dark and cold bunkers or cellars. Especially in Sumy, my hometown, it is not possible to build a humanitarian corridor so that people can flee the city. In some places, the storm and water supplies have already failed. All these men, women and children lack food, water, clean clothes and, above all, hygiene and medical supplies.
Yuliya's entire family still lives in the city of Sumy and she is in contact with many other families and institutions. She would like to use this contact and collect money to provide medicine, food, medical supplies, hygiene products as well as diapers, baby food, tissues, etc.. With this campaign she can also support hospitals and orphanages so that they also receive the urgently needed goods.
Certain products and goods such as medicines and medical supplies can already be purchased in Switzerland. Subsequently, the things are brought to the Ukrainian embassy in Bern, the embassy coordinates the delivery to Ukraine via the Polish border. In addition, the money can be used to buy fresh food and water directly on site in Lviv (on the border with Poland). At the border the goods are handed over to helpers who bring and distribute the relief supplies to the hospitals and bunkers. Part of the donations will also go directly to the people in Sumy, so that they can buy urgently needed things in the few stores that are still open.
Last week, the first cars packed with essential goods were able to leave for Wroslaw in Poland. Further transports are still being coordinated. With this we help the people in and around Sumy.
Thank you very much for your support! The people in Sumy are infinitely grateful to you.
Last week we were able to send the first cars. In Wroslaw (Poland) the cargo reached a warehouse. From there it was transported by trains and cars directly to Sumy. On the spot there were volunteers who sorted and distributed all the goods. Among other things, the volunteer Inna distributed vital medicines and other goods to pensioners and children.
Yesterday, another car loaded with urgently needed medicines and food left. This delivery should also arrive soon to those left behind.
Once again a big thank you to all who made these shipments possible!
Sumy attacked several times - Now we must act
My former hometown was attacked several times in the past days. Now, finally, part of the civilian population has been able to escape the acute danger of death through escape corridors. However, they are still not safe.
The attacks on Ukraine do not decrease. But there was one ray of hope for the civilian population of Sumy. A few days ago, a humanitarian corridor was agreed upon. Buses were used to evacuate people from the town.
However, people had to leave their homes, the fear remains and the flight continues. The refugees need all the support they can get. There are still survivors in Sumy, too, who depend on our help.
There is a humanitarian disaster throughout the country! Please share this project with your network, friends and acquaintances so that we can support the people with relief supplies. Thank you for your donations and support so far!

The people in the war zone desperately need our support. We have the opportunity to make a big difference with small gestures. That's what we should do. People in Ukraine are suffering tremendously and supplies are dwindling, they need the help. Yuliya can help directly on the ground through friends and family.
