New hip joints for my dog Vitez

Hello my name is Steffi,
I am 23 years old and currently in training for a commercial diploma.
Through an aid organisation I came to know my dog Vitez, who was found alone on the street in Hungary when he was 1.5 years old. Vitez came into my life on 7 July and became my faithful companion and best friend. In October 2022, the shock came: Vitez was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia in the highest stage, which causes Vitez extreme pain with every movement.
In order to solve Vitez's problem and to give him a pain-free life, there is only one possibility: two new hip joints for approx. CHF 14‘500.-. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this alone.

Idea
In order for Vitez to be able to enjoy a normal dog life again and run around with his dog friends, he urgently needs the first operation. With the operation, his left hip could be relieved. We ask for your support so that together we can give Vitez his first hip replacement. After the first surgery, we will see how Vitez copes with the new hip. The second hip joint will be planned once Vitez has successfully undergone the first operation.

My goal is to raise the amount for Vitez's first hip joint by 30 April 2023. That's why I'm starting this project here on there-for-you.com to reach many people. Once the fundraising goal is reached, Vitez will be registered for surgery.
The donations will be used for the following:
Total operation costs for both hip operations: approx. CHF 14'500.00.-
Crowddonating goal CHF 6'500.-
The difference will be covered at my own expenses.

- Various follow-up checks and staff costs are estimated at 800.-

Malformations of joints occur repeatedly in both humans and animals, are extremely unpleasant and often cause severe pain. The only thing that helps is the insertion of a new joint. In Vitez's case, both of his hip joints are affected. He urgently needs a first operation to relieve the pain. This will not only ease the burden on Vitez, but also on his owner Steffi.
