To ensure that less privileged youth can also participate and share their perspectives, your support is needed. Help foster sustainable ideas and equal opportunities!
Background
Many young people feel excluded from social and business decisions. At the same time, there is a lack of platforms where constructive discussions can take place, new perspectives can be introduced, and solutions to current challenges can be developed. The climate crisis, social inequality, the digital divide, and economic change—all of these issues call for fresh ideas and courageous voices from the next generation.

The One Young World Switzerland National Congress brings together over 150 committed young leaders from all regions of Switzerland every year – supported by local pre-events and follow-ups. Our motto for 2025: 'Constructive Conversations – Let's Talk!' made a big impact at the congress in Bern, and together we worked on concrete solutions. Year after year, OYW Switzerland develops similar themes and focal points and works with event participants to find possible solutions. We promote active dialogue and give young people the tools they need to take on responsibility and initiate change in companies, associations, or their personal environment.
They actively engage with future-oriented topics, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and build a network across industries, cultures, and language barriers.

Implementation
Targeted support is needed to ensure that the congress and accompanying events can be held and that everyone can participate, so that all motivated young people can attend, regardless of their background or financial situation. Your donation will enable young people/young adults (“young leaders”) from Swiss companies, people from remote regions, those with a migrant background, or those in difficult financial situations to participate—so that all voices can be heard!
Your contribution will go toward:
- Event expenses and accommodation for young participants
- Workshops and moderation around the events
- Follow-up measures for a lasting impact after the congress
You will be directly helping to ensure that constructive dialogue and motivated future leaders give rise to concrete projects for the future. We guarantee transparency, impact, and impact measurement through regular updates and a video after each event.

The One Young World Switzerland Congress empowers young people to develop solutions for key challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and digital transformation. By including diverse talents—especially from underprivileged backgrounds—it fosters inclusive and forward-thinking dialogue. Participants gain motivation, knowledge, and a strong network that extends beyond the event. They carry these ideas back into their communities, civil society—and importantly—into their workplaces. There, they initiate concrete change, promote sustainable practices, and act as multipliers for a fairer and more future-oriented society. Thus, the project contributes not only to personal growth but also to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and broader systemic transformation.
We will send the donation receipt (for Switzerland) in January of the following year.
