Background
In Romania, thousands of stray animals of all ages live in very poor conditions. They are often sick, malnourished and alone on the streets. They fight for survival every day. They have no shelter, no food and no medical help.
In addition, the price of basic food has doubled, forcing many people to abandon their pets. As a result, the number of stray animals continues to rise every day, the need is growing and our help is becoming more urgent.

Idea
We want to help precisely these helpless animals, because we cannot look the other way when they would starve or suffer without our support. That's why we do everything we can to provide them with enough food, medical care and loving care so that they can grow up healthy and happy.
Our goal is to take in abandoned stray animals, provide them with medical treatment and give them the strength they so desperately need with good food. We ensure that the puppies receive all the necessary vaccinations, just as they would in Switzerland. They also receive a chip and an EU pet passport.

Implementation
We take the puppies off the streets and offer them a safe haven in our Shetler, where they receive all the care and medical treatment they need to get well.
Your donation can be used to pay for vaccinations and good food for the animals.
As soon as the puppies are old and strong enough, we find loving families for them where they can lead a fulfilled and happy life. In this way, we give the stray animals a real chance of a better future.

The charity Citydogs4Streetdogs has been rescuing hundreds of street dogs since 2011.
The Swiss team works without overhead: 100% of the donations go to the animals and children in Romania.
The team on site at the animal shelter consists of two vets and five animal carers who work with dedication every day to look after the dogs.
